I was in class this morning and I came to a decision: As well as putting the blame on both the man and woman when a relationship breaks off, I blame that man or woman who, through a fated and unpursued encounter, did not reach out to that person who then landed into a doomed relationship. It is for this reason that the person will not find you, their one true love, and will continue to enter relationships failed from the very start: it is our responsibility, not only to ourselves but also to that person that would otherwise never know just what Love was that we should reach out for them, to go through the fire. Otherwise we are puzzle pieces being made to fit where they just do not, halves convincing ourselves that this other makes us whole.
