Some things in life are just too impossibly beautiful to ever place english words together and describe. Even hopelandic words fall short of the light. Sigur Rós at the theatre in Detroit, the words shining all around and the chimes and strings dancing with our hearts. It was so very close to being dashed by those who found it more enjoyable to shout aloud with alcohol running through their veins rather than the notes of the Icelandic opera. But their voices could never soar above those hopelandic heights. My eyes were closed standing in the mountains, the snow melting all around. Icicles dripping on piano keys.
